Popping Bread

Ingredients

Bread Dough

  • 250g Bread Flour
  • 120g Fresh Milk
  • 55(1) Whole Egg
  • 30g Sugar
  • 25g Unsalted Butter
  • 1g Salt
  • 3g Yeast

Cream Cheese Filling

Preparation of the recipes

    Bread Dough

    Dry mix of bread flour, sugar, salt, and yeast together. Start on low speed with dough attachment in a standing mixer

    Add egg and fresh milk. Change to medium speed until all ingredients are well mixed together. Add butter

    Change to high speed, and knead until smooth and elastic for about 5-7 mins. The dough should be stretchy.

    Transfer dough into bowl and cover with cling wrap. Let the dough rise at room temperature or 25-28°C until double the size

  • Cream Cheese Filling

    Place the cream cheese aside at room temperature till soften

    Add sugar and condensed milk

    Mix well until all sugar is dissolved

    Fold in drained Brown Sugar Popping Boba (PG-01)

  • Assemble

    Portion the dough into four, deflate the dough, and flatten it into a rectangular shape

    Spread desired amount of cream cheese on the dough

    Add desired amount of Brown Sugar Popping Boba (PG-01) on cream cheese. Roll into a log

    Repeat with the remaining doughs

  • 5

    Place the loaves on a baking sheet

    Let the loaves rise for 30-45 mins or until nicely puffy

    Preheat oven: top heat 160°C, bottom heat 180°C

  • 8

    Bake the loaves for 20-25 mins, depending on size

    Let the loaves cool completely before consumption

Tips

Replace cream cheese with other fillings if desire Jelly Ball (BIC-04), Popping Boba (PL-01) and Poepoe Ball (AX-03) can be replaced and used as alternative
