Locust Bean Gum

Locust bean gum is a vegetable gelatin made from acacia tree seeds from the Mediterranean. It is white or pale yellow powder without odor or with slight odor. Refined locust beam gum solution is of good transparency.  

Locust bean gum can collaborate well with carrageenan, Xanthan gum and other hydrophilic colloids. They can mixed in a low dosage to improve the structure of gel. 

Application Scenario

Jelly and pudding

It can be mixed with carrageenan to improve the elasticity of jelly, prevent dehydration and prolong the shelf life of products

Cheese sticks

It can be used together with carrageenan to improve the elasticity, reduce bleeding, improve the texture and taste and prolong the shelf life of products

Facial care product

It can be used together with carrageenan to improve the film forming property, reduce bleeding of emulsion and other products, improve the moderateness and prevent irritation, since they are purely extracted from plants
