Mochi of The Deep Sea

Ingredients

Mochi Dough

  • 15g Plain Flour
  • 45g Tapioca Starch
  • 55g(1) Whole Egg
  • 15g Sugar
  • 10g Unsalted Butter
  • 60g Fresh Milk
  • 1g Salt

Cream

  • 150g Whipping Cream
  • 15g Sugar

Preparation of the recipes

    Bread Dough

    Pour butter, milk, salt and sugar into a pot

    Heat the mixture until all butter is melted

    Add sieved flour, mix well

    Add tapioca starch, mix well. Heat on low heat over the stove for 2-3 mins

    Remove from heat. Slowly add in egg (as needed) to achieve a runny and consistent paste

    Bake at 160°C for 13-15 mins or until mochi ball is golden brown

  • Whipping Cream

  • 1

    Add whipping cream and sugar into mixing bowl

    Whip until stiff peaks formed

  • Assemble

    Cut top part of mochi ball

    Pipe whipped cream on mochi ball

    Add Jelly Ball & Popping Boba. Serve
